WATER JET CUTTING
At DIP International, we have learned to control the force of water, thus managing to offer water jet cutting services. In some respects, we can say that this is an innovative technical solution created to obtain high-precision finishes on almost all possible materials. Our machine has a 6400x3400mm work table and is equipped with a rotation axis and a 90-degree tiltable head. Even very resistant metals can be engraved thanks to water cutting, and this allows for a considerable variety of technical solutions. We use state-of-the-art technologies, which allow cutting materials up to 200mm thick, with a contour precision of 0.1mm.
This very flexibility allows us to create projects perfectly adapted to the client’s needs with extreme precision, achieving a clean cut, avoiding the formation of imperfections that occur in other types of processing. And thus, rejects are eliminated, and economic savings are obtained. Water jet cutting allows us to process very thin metals, even a few millimeters thick, to create a precise and perfectly finished product.
In addition, abrasive particle water jet cutting is one of the newest cutting processes. Water jet cutting is a multi-edge cutting technology, where the cutting is done by a high-speed water jet or a high-speed water jet mixed with abrasive additives, i.e., hydro-abrasive jet. Water jet cutting basically has two basic versions: water jet cutting, where the erosion power of the high-speed water jet is used, and hydro-abrasive jet cutting, where the water jet is mixed with abrasive additives, thus considerably increasing the erosion and cutting power.
DIP International can perform water jet cutting for natural stone or composite material ornaments, tiles, sandstone, plastic, rubber, glass, but also a very wide range of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. This flexibility has allowed us to create remarkable products in the field of architecture and interior design, as inlays in floors or walls can be made for residential, commercial, or office projects. These products can be central models, borders, mini-medallions in sizes and colors agreed upon by the client, and they can also include contour cutting of stereotomy medallions. For example, this type of work can be performed with the client’s material as well as with material chosen from our stock.

Our cutting machine is extremely efficient and can be programmed to perform very deep cuts, and this allows us to intervene on certain large-sized parts or products.
